FREEPORT — A public bean supper is planned Jan. 14 at First Parish Church, 40 Main St.

Two seatings are planned, at 5 and 6 p.m. The menu features three kinds of beans, chop suey, coleslaw, macaroni and cheese, hot dogs, rolls and desserts.

The cost is $8 for adults and $4 for children.
