BRUNSWICK — The Maine Steiners, a University of Maine a cappella group, will perform at 7 p.m. Tuesday in Crooker Theater at Brunswick High School on Maquoit Road.
Tickets cost $5 at the door. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Air for Ashley, an organization supporting a University of Maine graduate student with cystic fibrosis.
Founded in 1957, the Maine Steiners is a collective of 11 men and is a completely student-run and directed organization at the University of Maine. The group’s goal is to share the love of music and the passion of singing in hopes to recruit young individuals to a lifelong experience of musical learning.
Copies of the Maine Steiners’ latest CD, “Here’s to You,” and other merchandise will be available at the performance.
