Special Christmas farmers market set
BATH — The Bath Farmers Market is planing a special Christmas Market on Friday from 9 a. m. to noon at the United Church of Christ on Congress Avenue.
To order fresh fruit, pecan and mince pies, or tourtiere and chicken pies, call Chase Farms at 549-7611 by Wednesday. Only pies ordered ahead will be available, though there will be plenty of doughnuts, cookies and scones, according to a news release.
Other participating farms and businesses include Beryls, Hahns End, Pleasant Pond Orchards, Tarbox Farms, Cornerstone Farms and Sparrow Farm.
Cub Scout Park 633 slates signup session
BRUNSWICK — Cub Scout Pack 633 is planning a signup night at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Pilgrim House, 9 Cleaveland St.
The pack is sponsored by First Parish Church, UCC.
Cub Scouts is for boys in grades 1 to 5, with an emphasis on personal development through working with both large and small groups.
