AMERICAN LEGION MEMORIAL POST 216 members and their families gathered at Phil and Kate Pelletier’s home Saturday to stack two cords of wood in the couple’s basement. Phil, center with white beard, is a disabled Vietnam War veteran who received three Purple Hearts. The post will host a membership Christmas potluck supper at 6 p.m. Saturday at the Small Point Baptist Church.
