BRUNSWICK — A 41-year-old Brunswick man is under indictment on six counts of Class A felony gross sexual assault, Cumberland County District Attorney Stephanie Anderson announced Dec. 8.

Lester Ambrose, 41, was charged for the crimes that allegedly occurred between October 2009 and October 2010.

Ambrose was arrested by Brunswick police detectives on Sept. 7.

Brunswick Police Capt. Mark Waltz declined to comment on the case Wednesday.

If convicted, Ambrose could face up to 30 years in prison on each count.
