WESTBROOK – Think you’ve got what it takes to become “America’s Next Top Model”?

An open casting call for the popular CW Network show — hosted by supermodel Tyra Banks — will be held June 18 at CW affiliate station WPXT, 4 Ledgeview Drive, Westbrook. It will be held from noon to 3 p.m.

To audition, women must be legal U.S. citizens, be between the ages of 18 and 27, and be at least 5 feet, 7 inches tall. They must also provide copies of a passport and driver’s license or Social Security card and birth certificate, and complete an 11-page application, said Megan Littlefield, promotions coordinator for WPXT.

Once they satisfy the eligibility requirments, women will be videotaped for three minutes. Those three-minute videos will be sent to Hollywood, where casting directors for “America’s Next Top Model” will choose contestants. There’s no guarantee that an entrant from Maine will get to compete on the modeling show.

Littlefield said this casting call is for a season of the show that will be filmed this fall, but not shown until the spring of 2012.
