Slainte! And happy St. Patrick’s Day to you all. I’m about 20 percent Irish, and I figure that’s just enough to partake in a little Irish silliness. Translation: I’m writing this week’s column entirely in limerick form. 

There once was an Aimsel who wrote

And she jumped on the St. Patty’s boat

She hopes this is merry

And not the contrary

Though her chances are rather remote

 

On this St. Patty’s Morn’ you profess

I’d fancy a pint of Guinness
