Portland Ovations has O’Connor on a string

COMPOSER and violin virtuoso Mark O’Connor crosses genres with ease, moving from classical to jazz to bluegrass to country. He’s won Grammy Awards and performed on stages across the world. On Friday, Portland Ovations welcomes O’Connor and his quartet to Merrill Auditorium, where they will perform an evening of American-influenced works.
