FALMOUTH — The documentary film “Race to Nowhere,” about the high-pressure culture that pressures children in school, will be shown at the Falmouth High School Theater on Tuesday, Jan. 25, at 7 p.m.
The film, created by a concerned mother, depicts students struggling with depression and disengaged in class, and has inspired a grassroots group pushing to change the way students are taught and the national dialog on education.
The theater has already sold more than 100 tickets; according to the group’s website, 200 still remain available. They may be purchased for $10 at www.eventbrite.com/event/1121696023/efbnen.
