ALFRED — Fire officials are investigating the cause of a fire that occurred tonight on Mast Road.

A dispatcher for the Sanford Regional Communications Center said the fire broke out around 8 p.m. at 1138 Mast Road. The Alfred Fire Department responded and had extinguished the blaze by 10:30 p.m.

No further details were provided. The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
