I was a bit dismayed when reading in your paper (Sept. 19) about the latest poll numbers for the race for the U.S. Congress. Both current legislators are leading significantly. I must remind all reading this that both these representatives voted for Obama’s health care plan. And this is not good for seniors and others in our state.

This is a memory reminder to seniors and all others not to vote for either of these people. They are Chellie Pingree, District 1 and Michael Michaud, District 2. And especially for that reason, though there are others.

Vote for the challenger and maybe we can get that cruel law repealed.

On the governor’s race, we cannot afford Libby Mitchell. She has been spending Maine’s money blatantly ever since she’s been in the Legislature, and our state is in huge debt. Vote for Paul LePage, and we’ll get out of debt.
