SOUTH BERWICK — A South Berwick man faces charges of arson in connection with a fire at a town-owned building earlier this month.

Police say James Bowie, 55, set fire to a small vacant building at 26 Agamenticus Road on Oct. 5 at about 4:50 p.m.

A three-week investigation by the state Fire Marshal’s Office, South Bwerwick police and the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives led to Thursday’s arrest.
