Maine Gubernatorial Candidate Forum on Energy, the Environment and a Sustainable Maine Economy, at USM’s Hannaford Hall at 88 Bedford St., begins with coffee and dessert, 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., and the candidate forum runs 7:30 to 9 p.m. Susan Sharon of Maine Public Broadcasting Network will moderate the event. The forum is hosted by Conservation Law Foundation, Environment Northeast, Maine Audubon, Maine Center for Economic Policy, and Natural Resources Council of Maine and co-sponsored by more than 20 additional organizations.
