Dead Kennedys playing Tuesday

DEAD KENNEDYS, hardcore punk pioneers from the early 1980s, have been on a touring break for the past couple of years due to health issues. But they began a short East Coast tour in August, and will be in Portland next week.

Bebe’s in town, signing and singing–

ROCKER/AUTHOR and onetime Mainer Bebe Buell will be autographing her new CD “Sugar” on Saturday at Bull Moose, then performing that night at Empire Dine & Dance. Buell is the mother of actress Liv Tyler, and wrote about her relationships with various rock stars in her biography “Rebel Heart.”

WHEN: 4 p.m. Saturday (CD signing), 9 p.m. (concert)
