Bishop Richard Malone is announcing the following changes in assignments:

The Rev. Alfred E. Irving is retiring effective Oct. 1. Most recently he has been a chaplain at Maine Medical Center and Mercy Hospital in Portland and previously was the administrator of St. Patrick’s, Newcastle, and Our Lady Queen of Peace in Boothbay Harbor. He was ordained in 1971.

The Rev. Paul H. Dumais will provide coverage at Maine Medical Center and Mercy Hospital in Portland, as well as in Cluster #27 which is comprised of the parishes in Bridgton-Fryeburg, Windham, Gorham and Westbrook. He continues his ministry at the Maine Correctional Center in Windham. He was ordained in 2004.
