PORTLAND — According to a press release from Portland Ovations, the arts organization responsible for Liza Minnelli’s Portland concert on Wednedsay, the singer cannot make today’s scheduled 4 p.m. ceremony at city hall to receive a key to the city of Portland.

The press release cites Minnelli’s commitments in New York and last night’s inclement weather as the reasons.

The ceremony has been rescheduled to take place at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the start of her concert at Merrill Auditorium. The ceremony is open only to concert ticket holders. Go to portlandovations.org for more information.
