VICTOR WOOTEN, longtime bassist for Bela Fleck and the Flecktones, is one of the best-known players of the instrument around. He’s won five Grammy awards and he’s recorded and toured with fellow bass superstars Stanley Clarke and Marcus Miller under the name SMV. Now’s he’s bringing his bass-powered music to Portland.
