PORTLAND — The cost to ride Metro is scheduled to increase beginning Thursday, April 1.
A one-way fare is increasing 25 cents, from $1.25 to $1.50. A 10-ride pass goes from $11 to $13.50, and a monthly pass will increase $2.50, to $40.
Senior tickets will be 65 cents – up from 50 cents, and the same goes for fares for people with disabilities. Half-fare 10-ride tickets are increasing $1.25, to $6.75.
Student fares are increasing to $1.25 from $1 for a one-way fare.
