Day of Hockey fundraiser upcoming

“A Day of Hockey” to benefit the Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital will be held Sunday at the Cumberland County Civic Center. There will be youth games beginning at 7 a.m., a contest between the Southern Maine Law Enforcement All-Stars and the Portland Fire Department at 12 p.m. and a Portland Pirates vs. Albany River Rats contest at 4 p.m. The cost is $12. Running program set to begin

Open basketball offered

Maine Lacrosse training new officials

The Maine Lacrosse Officials Association (MLOA) needs more officials to support boys’ lacrosse at Maine high schools, middle school and youth events and is hosting a certification course beginning Feb. 28 at the North Yarmouth Academy (NYA) Middle School in Yarmouth.
