Gorham Community Access Television and the Cable Advisory Committee will sponsor a “Meet the Candidates” forum for the upcoming Gorham Town Council election. The event is open to the public and will be held on Thursday Oct. 22, at 7 p.m., in the Gorham Municipal Center 75 South Street.
The event will feature an interview of the candidates running for Gorham Town Council. The candidates are Brenda Caldwell (incumbent), Shonn Moulton (incumbent), and Matt Mattingly.
Sen. Phil Bartlett (D-Cumberland County) will moderate the show. The event will broadcast live on Channel 3.
The format will be in three parts: moderated questions, response questions from the public, and an open town hall-style portion. The moderated questions will be drawn from a pool of questions that will be distributed to the candidates in advance of the program. Questions from the floor will be submitted to the moderator. The town hall section will allow citizens to question the candidates directly.
