4/17 at 12:51 a.m. Ryan Delaney, 27, of Autumn Lane, Yarmouth, was arrested on Gray Road by Officer Christopher Woodcock on a charge of operating under the influence.
4/18 at 1:27 a.m. Kyle Casey, 26, of Gray Road, Falmouth, was arrested on Gray Road by Officer Christopher Woodcock on a charge of operating under the influence. He was later released at the Cumberland police station after a sobriety test.
4/18 at 11:59 p.m. Donald Gagne, 39, of Edwards Road, Mechanic Falls, was arrested on Gray Road by Officer Christopher Woodcock on charges of operating under the influence and violating conditions of release.
Summonses
4/19 at 2:08 a.m. Jauquito Jorge, 27, of Oklahoma, was issued a summons on Gray Road by Officer Christopher Woodcock on a charge of operating without a license.
4/20 at 7:20 p.m. A 17-year-old Cumberland girl was issued a summons on Blanchard Road by Officer Ryan Martin on a charge of illegal transportation of drugs by a minor.
4/20 at 7:20 p.m. Joshua Grant, 19, of Scott Road, South Portland, was issued a summons on Blanchard Road by Officer Ryan Martin on a charge of possession of marijuana.
New car
4/7 A little after 11:30 p.m., a Foreside Road resident called to tell police that a suspicious car went down the driveway of a seasonal resident’s home. Police discovered that the car belonged to the home’s caretakers. The caretakers had just purchased a new car.
Blame the ex
4/7 At around 8 p.m., a Flintlock Drive resident called police to report that a Ford truck had been taken from his driveway. The complainant, in the middle of a divorce, at first suspected his soon-to-be ex might have it, but she said she didn’t. Police later learned the truck was repossessed by the bank.
No dumping?
4/9 A Pleasant Valley Road resident called police requesting information from the animal control officer as to whether there’s a law against someone letting their dog defecate on her lawn.
Kids’ new friend
4/10 A Schooner Ridge Road resident called to advise police of a “very friendly fox” that has been visiting her neighborhood for the past few days. She called because there are lots of kids in the neighborhood.
Hitchhiker
4/10 At 8:35 p.m., a Bates Road, Yarmouth resident driving on Main Street called to say that while driving on Route 9, he had stopped to pick up a man who was walking. The walker then attempted to take the man’s vehicle – the caller pushed him out and took off. Though he wasn’t sure where the incident had occurred and had no description of the suspect, police confirmed it was in the North Yarmouth/Pownal area and asked a local deputy to respond. The driver arrived at the police department and was evaluated by the rescue department because he was so shaken up.
