scholarships available

BRUNSWICK — Applications are now available for the Kiwanis Club of Brunswick’s annual scholarship competition.

Two $1,000 scholarships are awarded to graduating high school seniors who will be attending a two or four year college.

Another two $1000 scholarships will be awarded to graduates from Maine Vocational Region 10 or Morse High School Vocational Education who will be attending a vocational certification program or a one or two year technical school.

Selections are based upon academic accomplishment, character and leadership, financial need, and a short essay. 

Students attending Brunswick High School, Mt. Ararat High School, Morse High School, and MVR No. 10 and are eligible. Applications are available at each school’s guidance office.

The applications must be postmarked by May 15 and mailed to Kiwanis Club of Brunswick, P.O. Box 72, Brunswick, ME 04011.
