Now that the temperature has begun to warm up, local athletes are
getting back outside to begin the spring sports season. While the opening of the regular season is still over a week away, that doesn’t mean that there aren’t any games going on this week. Teams from South Portland, Cape Elizabeth and Scarborough high schools are practicing and scrimmaging this week as they prepare for next week’s regular season openers.
