The Southern Maine Flame’s U14 team completed an exciting weekend of softball by second in the 2009 April Fool’s Tournament in Plainville, Mass. last weekend.

The team features girls from several towns, including Mo Hannan, Abby Rutt, Erin Giles and Mariah Volk who are all from Scarborough. The second place finish among the 18 teams at the event qualifies the team for the PONY National Tournament in Cary, N.C. this summer.
