Scar skiers:

Scarborough High’s Taylor Bernier, a junior (right) and sister Shelby Bernier, a freshman, participated in Class A state alpine ski championships for slalom and giant slalom at Sunday River on Feb. 16 and 17. During the season they train and compete with the Gray-New Gloucester ski team, coached by Bill Corrigan, while representing the Red Storm. Taylor finished 39th out of 93 racers in giant slalom and 43rd in slalom. Shelby finished in the middle of the pack for girls.
