The hits just keep coming for Bob Crowley.
Two months after Crowley won the CBS reality show “Survivor” and its $1 million prize, Maine Gov. John Baldacci proclaimed Feb. 17 “Bob Crowley Day” across the state.
Crowley, a South Portland resident and Gorham High School physics teacher, was named the show’s winner in December. He outlasted 17 other contestants on the show, which was taped last summer in Gabon, Africa. He is the first Mainer to win.
In January, South Portland recognized him with its own Bob Crowley Day. Crowley has also spoken at several events in his honor in South Portland and has appeared on the CBS Morning Show.
