Maine Bank & Trust has just completed a food drive that filled more than 20 boxes for local food pantries.
The Pantry Project, the recipient of the donations, is a joint effort between Preble Street and United Way of Greater Portland to fill up local food pantries with donations of canned, boxed and other non-perishable foods.
Six Maine Bank & Trust branches participated in the food drive, including branches in Portland, South Portland, Scarborough, Westbrook, Yarmouth and Falmouth. Branches set up displays on the food drive and collected donations from employees and customers.
