Scarborough once again hosted its 14th annual Holiday Hoops tournament with 55 teams competing over four days. The tournament is for fifth through eighth grade girls and boys and was well represented with teams from all over southern and central Maine. The tournament is recognized as one of the premier events for this age group. The partnership between the Scarborough Basketball Boosters, Community Services, and school administrators has made this a very successful event over the years.

Scarborough had teams competing in all age groups and was well represented with three teams winning tournament championships: the sixth grade boys, sixth grade girls and the seventh grade girls. The eighth grade boys and eighth grade girls finished second in their age group.
