New Gloucester’s Samantha Libby and Windham’s Jennifer Field. have been selected to the 2009 Southern Maine Flame U16 team.

The Southern Maine Flame completed tryouts recently and selected their 2009 travel softball teams. With over than 100 athletes from 34 different Maine towns attending tryouts for Maine’s premier softball organization, the decisions were very difficult.

The Flame has six teams from U10 to U18. They have a long history of success including 11 ASA state championships and three ASA regional championships.
