Westbrook police have arrested four people in connection with a fight involving baseball bats and two-by-fours on Brown Street Wednesday night and say more arrests expected.
While on patrol, Officer Steven Goldberg came upon the fight, at around 11 p.m. Wednesday night, between Brown Street and Winslow Street.
Joseph Randall, 19, of Winslow Street, who police called the “primary aggressor,” was arrested for aggravated assault, aggravated criminal mischief, terrorizing, assault and illegal possession of alcohol by a minor. He is at Cumberland County Jail.
His victim was injured but did not require hospitalization.
Michael Thompson, 20, of Main Street, was arrested on a warrant for assault. Thompson hails from 687 Main St. in Westbrook. Dani N. Boucher, 21, of Portland, was arrested on a warrant for disorderly conduct. Jonathan Dresser, 21, of Main Street, was arrested on a warrant for violating conditions of release.
Baseball bats and two-by-fours were recovered from the scene. Police said the investigation continues and more arrests and more charges are likely to come.
