Men’s 4-on-4 basketball league rolls on

The Legends made it two wins in a row, this time pounding Run N’ Gun, 114-80. CJ Vose was unstoppable, scoring 41 for the Legends and Tom Farwell had 19.

Warren Mathieson paced Run N’ Gun with 29, including six threes.

VTEC kept pace by turning back Colonial Tree, 98-77. Caleb Sayward led six players in double figures with 28 for VTEC.

Brian Wohl kept Colonial Tree in the game with 38.

Smith Barney had no trouble with New Era, winning 81-57. Shaun Williams led Smith Barney with 26 and CJ Lefevre had 22. Nate King led New Era with 24.

SKB shocked Dream Team, 88-84. Bob Davies poured in 38 and Brayden Clements added 26. Seth Farrington led Dream Team with 38.

Team Hancock survived a first half injury to Matt Hancock and went on to a 83-64 win over Wreckin Ball. John Kohtala stepped in a had a game high 36 for the winners and Harland Storey chipped in 17. Brett Souchek hit six 3’s and finished with 22 for Wreckin Ball.

Men’s 40 and over basketball league report

Smith Barney Sr. hammered the Windham Warriors 120-48, in the inaugural game of the 40 and over men’s league.

Scott Sanfino scored 27 and Joel Pond 26 for the winners. Kevin Tibbits drained six 3-pointers and finished with 20, Jon Jamieson added 17 for the Windham Warriors.

The Recking Crew overcame a late nine-point deficit to down Cole Farms, 57-54, in an intense game. Roger Dehetre hit three straight threes to bring RC all the way back. Dehetre hit six threes and finished with a game high 28, Ed Lloyd chipped in 20. Brad Pollard paced Cole Farms with 19 and Jay Wilkins 16.

Games are Thursday nights at 6:30 and 7:30.

The men’s flag football league had all its games rained out. Last week’s games will be made up on Nov. 2.
