Gorham residents will decide Tuesday whether to approve a 20-year bond to build a $25.8 million elementary school off Route 237. Gorham taxpayers would pay for $2.4 million, not counting interest.
The proposed kindergarten through Grade 5 school would replace the overcrowded kindergarten through second-grade White Rock Elementary School, built nearly a half century ago.
With a new school, Gorham would have three elementary schools housing kindergarten through fifth grade.
