The Riverbank Art Festival attracted art lovers and artists alike Saturday to Westbrook for the seventh annual edition of the late-summer favorite. About 35 artists from around Maine, ranging from jewelers to painters to potters, participated, and there was plenty of food and music to round out the day.

CUTLINES:

Charlie Jenkins…Charlie Jenkins, of Tandem Glass Gallery & Studio in Dresden, can be seen through a piece of hand-blown glass Saturday afternoon at the festival. Jenkins was one of many vendors to be showing art work in the park.

Henna…Mary Kearns, of the Eye of Henna in Portland, demonstrates the art of henna, which is made from the leaves of the henna plant and has been used for centuries in the art of body decoration.
