The Beach to Beacon isn’t just for grown-up runners, kids of all ages had the chance to run a slightly shorter course in Fort Williams Park on Saturday as part of the “Kids Fun Run.” After the race a group of Scarborough kids showed off the medals they won for completing the run. Pictured, front row, from left: Sofia Durdag, 5; Maggie Amann, 5 and Brendan Amann, 3. Rear row, from left: Kemal Durdag, 8, Emily Amann, 9 and Molly Amann, 7. Kemal sounded like he was ready for the big race while he was talking about the kids’ run, “it was easy,” he said with a smile.
