Scarborough first baseman Ben O’Connor looks for the ball as Westbrook’s Zach Collett rounds first in the third inning of Westbrook’s 12-6 win over Scarborough in the regular season opener. The Red Storm finished the season with an 8-8 record, good for the No. 11 seed in the Class A Western playoffs. The Storm’s season came to a close with a loss to Portland in a prelim game.
