Westbrook police arrested a man for carrying a loaded gun in a motor vehicle Tuesday.

This was the second time Ervine Richardson, 61, was charged with the same crime this year, police said.

According to Capt. Tom Roth, Richardson has a loaded .22-caliber Magnum Derringer in a wallet holster in his car. He was taken to Cumberland County Jail, where he made bail and was released, police said.
