The Portland Area Comprehensive Transportation Committee, or PACTS, has been listening to feedback from the public on the list of 10 high-priority projects for 2009 since February. The final public hearing is at 7 p.m. Thursday at Westbrook High School.
Projects on the list range in cost from $10 million for road improvements in South Portland to $100 million for a passenger rail to Brunswick.
Other projects include rebuilding the Veterans Memorial Bridge in Portland, building the second phase of the Gorham bypass and widening Interstate 295 between exits 5 and 7 in Portland.
PACTS is a federally mandated metropolitan planning organization for 15 communities in the Portland region.
