Cape Elizabeth High School junior Caitlin Pomeroy returns a shot from Falmouth’s Morgan Furman during their No. 3 singles match in the Western Maine Class B girls tennis opener for both teams last Thursday at Cape Elizabeth. Pomeroy pulled out a 3-6, 6-4, 6-0 win.

Katie Takach:

Katie Takach of Cape Elizabeth sends a return to Hallsey Leighton of Falmouth during their No. 1 singles match last Thursday at Cape Elizabeth High School. It was the Western Maine Class B girls tennis opener for both schools. Leighton won 6-1, 6-1 to help the Yachtsmen to a 3-2 victory.
