How did last year end? Lost to Scarborough in quarterfinals

Outlook: The Eagles lost most of their team this year, with 11 seniors graduating. This year’s team will need to come together quickly if the Eagles want to earn a spot in the tourney.

Girls Lacrosse

Last year’s record: 0-12

How did last year end? Missed playoffs

Players to watch: Courtney Maiorino, def.; Lyzz Stevenson, mid.; Kassie Reutlinger, wing.

Outlook: “We’re improving each year,” Lebel said. “We have more numbers this year which is a good sign. There is more younger talent this year, so the interest is there.”

How did last year end? Lost to Westbrook in Western Maine final

Outlook: Several of the Eagles’ top players from last year have graduated. That leaves them with several openings. It should be interesting to see if the Eagles’ recent run of success will continue.

Outlook: The Eagles have been one of the top girls’ programs for the last few years. This year they have a new coach who will look to keep the team near the top of the league.

Athletes to watch: Patrick Ciez, Julian Gazzelloni, Eric O’Connor and Brandon Pesce

Outlook: “The team has a lot going for it,” said assistant coach Peter Marsh. “We have a new coach and a new mold. We should have a good showing this year.”

How did last year end? 21st in state meet

Athletes to watch: Vanessa Rallis, Reilly Sullivan

Outlook: The Eagles have some good athletes on the team this season and will score a few points. But they have some distance to go to become one of the top teams.
