Coach: Aaron Talon-seventh year
Last year’s record: 6-10
Players to watch: Lucas Chase P/OF, Joe Billings P/OF, Owen Chaplin SS, Taylor Valente P/OF, Trevor McCutcheon C, Jesse Ordway 2B
Key concern for this season: The starting line-up will consist of all underclassman-six juniors and three sophomores. How well the young kids develop may determine if the Patriots make the playoffs.
Outlook: “Our team goal is to make the playoffs,” Talon said. : We have a lot of young kids in the program, but they are talented and have a good work ethic.”

Coach: Melanie Craig
Last year’s record: 10-6-fifth place in Western B Conference-lost to Greely in the quarterfinals of playoffs
Players to watch: Laura Getchell, Abby Ryan, Taylor Damon, Brittany Adell, Alicia Gorman, Alicia Valente, Kassie Wilson, Morgan Wilson and Cassie Stokes.
Key concern for this season: Reloading the offense and solidifying the team’s defensive positioning.
Outlook: “We graduated four very key seniors that put up big numbers offensively and played critical roles in defense,” Craig said. “Our team will be young, but I am very excited at the high level of play that our younger players are putting out. Laura Getchell will prove herself to be one of the best pitchers in Western B and if we can place the right people behind her defensively, we will be competitive in our conference. We look forward to this young team developing a strong offensive strategy in the next few years.”
