The Scarborough fifth grade girls travel team recently finished their season with a hard fought victory over a very talented Lake Region team to win the Freeport Travel League Championship on March 9. The Scarborough girls finished their season with a 20-1 record.

This was the second year in a row that Scarborough and Lake Region played for the title with the Lakers getting the better of the Red Storm last year by three points.

Members of the team are: Bailey Adams, Ashley Briggs, Shannon Mars, Kaitlin Prince, Sarah Rinaldi, Lindsey Thurston, and Samantha Sparda. The team is coached by Don Briggs and Doug Adams.
