Scarborough’s Taylor Bernier competed in the Maine Class A state alpine ski championships on Feb. 19th and 20th at Black Mountain in Rumford. 19 Class A schools competed in both the slalom and giant slalom events over the two days. Bernier trains and competes with the Gray-New Gloucester ski team during the season but skies under the Scarborough Red Storm name. Taylor finished 30th out of 87 racers in the giant slalom event.
