Lake Cheerleaders

The Lake Region cheerleaders traveled to Bangor last Friday night to help cheer on the three-time Class B Western champions as they took on Waterville for the state title.

Officials from the Maine Principals’ Association seem perplexed by a leak in the roof of the Bangor Auditorium that delayed the start of the Class B girls state title game between Lake Region and Waterville by almost a half-hour. Eventually, officials recruited two Waterville students, armed them with towels and set them to work drying the floor every time the play was in the other end.
