Bonny Eagle’s Casey McKague, shown in a game against Portland from last season, was named the winner of the Gary Randall Award, given to the SMAA’s top sportsman. A 6-foot-5 senior center for the Scots, McKague missed nearly the entire season with a blood clot. Bonny Eagle coach Rick Simonds called the award “a wonderful honor for a special young man.”

Windham senior Travis Guerrette was recently named to the All-SMAA second team. Windham coach Kevin Millington called Guerrette, who averaged 11.2 points per game this season, “a tremendous kid who had the respect of all his teammates.”

Windham sophomore forward Jon Sangillo, was named to the SMAA All-Rookie team this season. Sangillo averaged 11.8 points per game and led the Eagles in rebounding with 4.6 per game.
