Seniors to hear Sparks

Wildlife Rescue expert Dave Sparks of Sparks’ Ark, Windham, will speak when Westbrook Senior Citizens meet at 1 p.m. on Monday at Westbrook-Warren Congregational Church.

The seniors are planning to dine on Thursday, Jan. 17, at DiMillo’s Floating Restaurant in Portland and attend a Portland Players’ performance of “The Fantasticks.”

AARP meets monthly

Portland Chapter 228 of AARP meets at 11 a.m. on the third Tuesday of each month at North Deering Congregational Church, 1364 Washington Ave., Portland.

Lunch, $8, is served at noon and reservations are required. A program follows the meal. For more information or reservations, call Jean Hoffses at 773-4979.
