Fire and Rescue
Between Dec. 4 and Dec. 10, the Cape Elizabeth Rescue squad transported one patient to Mercy Hospital and two to Maine Medical Center.
On Dec. 4, at around 8 a.m., the fire department responded to a fire inside a residence on Stonegate Road.
On Dec. 4, at around 12:15 p.m., the fire department responded to a fire alarm sounding at Pond Cove Elementary School.
On Dec. 4, at around 1:45 p.m. and again at around 4 p.m., the fire department responded to a fire alarm sounding at 40 Bowery Beach Road.

Out of order
On Dec. 8, a resident of the Scott Dyer Road area reported a possible violation of protection order. The resident said a person had entered his home in violation of the order. However, the paperwork had expired and the resident was advised to return to court.
Fuel for the fire
On Dec. 8, the caretaker for a property on Route 77 reported that an unknown amount of fuel oil had been stolen from an outside storage tank. The case remains active.
