Outlook: With nine seniors returning to this year’s team, the Red Storm will look to advance beyond the prelims in this year’s tourney.
Girls Basketball

Players to watch: Sarah Bonenfant, Sr. guard/forward; Nicole Chaloux-Pinnette, Sr. guard; Emily Heath, Sr. forward; Reegan Brackett, Jr. point guard; Abbey Pelletier, Jr. forward; Jenn Colpitts, So. guard; Christy Manning, So. forward
Outlook: The Red Storm are a young team led by Manning and Colpitts. Last year, the two led the team in scoring, rebounding, steals and assists as freshmen. Seavey will look to them again this year to lead the team to the playoffs.
Ice Hockey
Coach: Jay Mazur (5th year)

How did last year end: Lost to Biddeford in regional final
Players to watch: Ben Waller, Sr. goalie; Jacob Rutt, Jr. defense; Nick Tolman, Jr. defense; Andrew Nigro, So. forward; Trevor Hoxsie, So. forward; Nate Gadbois, So. forward; Nate Tolman, So. forward.
Outlook: The Red Storm graduated nearly their entire team with 16 seniors a year ago. But the Storm has reloaded with talent from last year’s JV team. The team will be buoyed on defense by solid goaltending from Waller and new defenseman Jacob Rutt who transferred from St. Dom’s.

Outlook: Kelly says the Red Storm will be very competitive thanks to the balance they have in all grades. He is very pleased with his freshman class.

Outlook: The Red Storm lost some of their big point scorers to graduation, but the underclassmen should step up and take their place as Scarborough will once again be one of the top teams in the state.
Wrestling
Coach: Phil Hamilton (2nd year)
How did last year end: 10th in region
Athletes to watch: Brandon Carrol, Sr.; Ken Mancuso, Sr; Glen Googins, So.
Outlook: Last year Scarborough had a lot of youth on their team and a new coach. With a year together under their belts, they should only improve as the season goes on.
