The Southwestern Maine Activities Association recently announced its all-star selections for the 2007 season.
West A runner-up Scarborough placed two players on the first team: senior Sarah Bonenfant and sophomore Brittany Ross. (Bonenfant and Ross were also selected to the Maine Class A all-state team.)
The Red Storm’s Jackie Morin made it to the second team.
Local honorable mention selections were Scarborough’s Nancy Leasure and South Portland’s Stephanie Thibault.
And Scarborough High coach Kerry Mariello was chosen as the SMAA Coach of the Year.
