In “The Spirit of Reindeer,” Santa’s reindeer are puzzled and disappointed they cannot convince Wendell, the vice president of North Pole Enterprises, to change his mind about replacing them with a machine. Among the University of Southern Maine students in the cast are, from left, back: Dasher (Hope Valliere), Wendell (Robert Marcotte) and Cupid (Matt Withee). Front: Vixen (Alexis R.D. Handy), Dancer (Ashley Cristy), Donner (Megan Leddy) and Blitzen (Slaney Rose Jordan). The musical comedy will be performed Sunday through Tuesday in Corthell Concert Hall at the Gorham campus.
