October programs on Wednesdays for seniors at Hillcrest Recreation Center, 108 Hillcrest Ave., Scarborough, include:
Oct. 10, Black Point Park presentation. Have questions about the Black Point Park proposal that will be on the ballot in November? Have them answered during this session. Lunch follows, $3. Register by Monday.
Oct. 17, Seniors Acting Up theatrical performance, with lunch, $3 Register by Monday, Oct. 15.
Oct. 24, Lighthouse Jubilee Singers, with lunch, $3. Register by Monday, Oct. 22
Oct. 31 Halloween Party, with lunch, $3. Register by Monday, Oct 29.

Bingo is held every Friday at 11:30 a.m. Participants can pay $2 to play as many cards as they would like. They should also bring their own lunch.
Every Tuesday this fall is a walk in Memorial Park. Meet at 9:30 a.m. at the concession stand in Memorial Park for a walk with friends and neighbors. Afterward, head over to the Freaky Bean on Route 1 for coffee and where, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Tuesdays, seniors receive a 10 percent discount on all food and drinks.
Community Services provides transportation to and from Senior College at the University of Southern Maine. Call 730-4150 to register.
